Data Processing / Programmer / Direct Mail Lettershop (Denver)

Data Processing person needed for lettershop in Denver. Familiar with BCC Mail Manager a plus.

We’re looking for a strong communicator who is detail oriented and motivated to use the latest software applications for cleansing and manipulating large mailing files and preparing documents for high-speed digital printing and other data applications.

Candidates should feel comfortable working with others in a busy production setting as this position requires heavy interaction with our Customer Service Department.

Primary Functions:

Have overall familiarities with some common file formats used for the transfer and manipulation of address data such as comma and tab delimited text files, Access, Excel, etc.

Proficient with MS Word mail merge or other industry specific mail merge software functionality insert variable data/images into a document.

Be familiar with or able to be easily trained in the use of Postal database software that will be used to organize customer data into USPS compliant output.

Be detail and quality oriented.

Be experienced in the use of production black/white and color digital printing equipment, and be able to use their existing expertise to achieve the desired results from customer provided files in a variety of formats such as PDF, Publisher, Word, various image and text formats and combinations thereof.

Providing extended hours coverage to projects as required.


Qualifications:
Knowledge of BCC Mail Manager 2010(a plus), MS Excel, MS Word, MS Publisher, Adobe Acrobat. Programming experience with Visual Basic a plus.
